New and only here: Learn about EST session and gig fellows and friends who helped the band out of some tricky stage situations. To be updated.

The "fifth Schmidtcke": Steffen Strauß.

Looks a little scary on the photograph, but he is veeery nice: when things get really hot, and even the EST start to tremble, it's time for Steffi! That is for this man has the rare gift to bring EST guitarist Schindi out of his shell and incite him to top performance and guitar duells like in the days of old... (Lower, we do believe that Schindi even is a little frightened of Steffen...)

As an old fellow and colleague from Gera days, the sympathical rhythm guitarist played along on several EST recordings and some of the more main events.

To a man: Wolfgang "Wolle" Himmel. (back middle)

Drummer lost is an often heard phrase at the EST: When EST drummer Chris once again trips the world in secret mission, Wolle is there to do the job. No ifs or buts. Happened just a few days ago at the big Beatles Memorial in Weimar.

We met him at the dixieland, where Rolf now and then takes pains to, and ask me where he knows our pieces from: Donnow. He knows them, he does it. Not just a substitute: A good substitute.

Wanna read your name here? Play a brass instrument? Then mail us to EST@psydeco.de, for the Terzett is actually forming a brass section - read more here within the next months!

And also new in a few weeks: The Studio 2 Home Story that gives an intimate insight into EST recording life and features our alltime nice wardens at the EST basecamp in Gera! Stay tuned!
