+++New fire commissioner+++(7/24/2000) The new EST fire commisioner will be Bob Seidel. He will replace Robert Schinköthe, who has made himself a name as a succesful fire elemiator in the year of ´99 by discovering two stage fires, one heavvy drum set fire and twenty-one small fires, with twelve of them at the EST rehearsal room. It was already June, when Seidi passed the necessairy examinations . "My aim should be: Discovering more stage fires, more heavvy drum set fires, and more small fires, with more of them at the EST rehearsal room", said Seidi during his inauguration. He will officially become EST fire commisioner on August 1 for one year.
+++EST at Buckingham Palace+++(7/19/2000) The latest EST fan is Queen Elizabeth, english Queen since 1872, who has received an EST CD during her Germany trip on July 18. There is no official statement from Buckingham Palace yet, but eyewitnesses have seen a silver Rolls Royce playing loud rock music in the city of Berlin.
+++Bob Seidel Solo Shows+++(7/13/2000) EST keyboarder Bob has finished his brandnew solo show Too far to see yet, and he might be able to serve some concert highlights during the lazy summer months with that. Country ballads from five decades, blues and Pop will be played as well as the ultra-rare "Friendly Persons" Ragtime piece by the late Scott Joplin, which Bob plays exclusively throughout Germany thanks to his good connections to the Scott Joplin Foudation in Minneapolis. Not convinced yet? Bobby will also sing again !
+++EST Homerun+++(7/6/2000) It was quite a long time that the two EST shows at the Gera Open Air Festival "Alles Theater" where announced, and it was also a long time that we had looked forward to it with excitement. That festival is like no other local festival able to get the lazy Thuringians out of their doors, and it meanwhile has also taken big dimensions on. Quite the right thing for the EST ! The show has been recorded, and so you might get a few tracks via the internet soon. David Holder, an artist we got to know on the festival, made us a fine compliment: he thought that our music was "both new and familiar in one". If that ain´t somethin´ ! RH
+++EST medal+++(06/30/2000) Just in time for the 3rd EST stage anniversary the Münzen-Seidel company releases the first official EST medal these days. The design was done by such celebrities as German chancellor Schröder or Russian Premier Minister Putin. +++Help Seidi !+++(6/13/2000) Seidi has now decided to earn his living by appearing regularily at the German quiz show "Wer wird Millionär" ("Who will be a millionaire?"). So, from now on we will be able to see him every friday at 8:30 p.m. on the telly. Success does not grow on trees, and that is why you are invited to train Seidi by mailing him test quiz questions via E-m@il. +++Schindi movin´+++(6/11/2000) EST guitarist Robert Schinköthe will leave his Leubingen home to move to Erfurt on July 1st. This was what his management told us on last friday. Details at Robert@psydeco.de

+++EST opens Piano-Bar+++(5/13/2000) Joining the Erfurt Bullfrog-Bluesband the three Schmidtckes left open the Piano-Bar in Sömmerda near Leubingen. Seidi joins live via Video Telephone. Negotiations about further EST appeareances are in process. (watch the Live & Real-page carefully ! )
+++Seidi in hospital+++(5/12/2000) EST keyboarder Bob Seidel is in hospital sice he fell off his bike by crossing the Geranian Woods in the night from 11th to 12th May. Not dangerous.
